Volunteers and Officials urgently needed this weekend
We are looking for volunteers and officials to help with the Spring Open this weekend.
At the moment, we need additional support in a number of event areas to make sure the competition can occur.
If your club has put out a request for volunteers, please let them know you are available to assist this weekend. You can also email Michael directly at programs@athleticsmanitoba.com with when you would be available and which events you would like to help with.
We are very excited to open up the outdoor season, but we need your help to make the event a success.

THROWING CAGE UPDATE
In preparation for the meet this weekend we also wanted to share some important updates/background information.
As you all know, we’ve had a VERY late start to spring, with the weather only really improving recently. This means that it has been a challenge to get the facility ready for competition. The remaining area of concern is the throwing cage. Bad weather and high winds have thus far, made it unsafe to install the final sections of the infield cage.
(Damage to outside throwing cage means that it is unsafe to use, and while new netting has been ordered but it has yet to arrive!)
Over the next few days, we will do our best to get the final sections of the infield cage in place and ready for use.
