We are delighted to share that Madisson Lawrence has been named to her first ever National Team.
The 2022 NACAC Combined Events Championship will be held on May 14 and 15 at the Terry Fox Athletics Facility in Ottawa, and Madi is one of 4 athletes chosen to represent Canada at the event.
This is the first NACAC Combined Events Championship since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ottawa Lions are hosting this year’s competition, at the same venue that welcomed the Pan American Combined Events Cup in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018. This edition of the Championship will be classed as a GL event for World Ranking purposes, and the top three athletes in the women’s and men’s open divisions will respectively be awarded $1,500, $750 and $250 by the local organizing committee.
