Team Practices
The team practice dates for the 2019 Tri-Province team have been announced. These practices are open to all athletes born in 2004/2005 (U16) and 2002/2003 (U18), who are interested in being selected for Team Manitoba. These practices are targeted towards school based or rural athletes in order to provide additional training opportunities. Current club athletes are welcome to attend in order to meet the provincial coaching staff, though it’s not imperative.
These practices are not mandatory for team selection; however, ALL athletes that are interested in being a part of the team must declare their interest here AND Register for Age Class Championships on June 21-22nd.
- Sprints, Hurdles, Jumps, and Throws with Reed will occur at the University of Manitoba Outdoor Stadium, from 5:30-7:00 PM on: Tuesday, June 25th, Tuesday, July 2nd, Tuesday, July 9th.
- Distance with Scott & Jennie will occur at the University of Manitoba Outdoor Stadium, from 5:30-7:00 PM on Mondays-Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 PM & Saturdays at 10:30 AM.
- Throws with Dale, will occur at Stonewall Collegiate on Monday, Thursday, Friday Evenings from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
Practice Meet: GO Classic- July 5-6th. (It is expected that all selected Tri-Province Athletes compete at this meet.)
