The International Polish Summer Games has been a bi-annual event since 1934. The goal of this event is to congregate the Polish people, especially the younger generation, and strengthen their contact with the mother land. Participants experience the thrill of competition within a huge range of events, such as track and field, soccer, volleyball, swimming, basketball, chess, ring toss, tennis, badminton, road cycling, ping pong, tennis, family events, badminton, chess, archery, handball, Nordic walking, pool billiards, and many others. Around 1000-1500 participants come to the Polish Games from around the world.
