Manitoba Runners Association (MRA) Memberships

Full Athletics Manitoba athlete members are eligible for COMPLIMENTARY MRA memberships.
You can download the membership form and submit directly to the MRA,
or register on their registration website using the code AMMEMBER.
Athletics Canada/Manitoba athlete, club, official and coach memberships expire December 31st.
Results will not be recognized for rankings or records, unless your membership is active and paid.
Members of the following clubs, Winnipeg Optimist Athletics, and the University of Manitoba Track & Field Team, renew and pay for their memberships through their clubs.
All other athletes and coaches need to renew their memberships online through TRACKIE .
If you are or have been an active member, your name will be in the Athletics Canada database, so select ‘Renewing Member’. Once you click Renewing Member, you can look up your AC number, (as you need to fill in that number). Click on ‘Look up’, (beside the AC# box) and fill in the required information. It will also indicate if your membership is ‘Active’ or ‘Expired’.
The ‘Request Club’ box defaults to Unattached, but please if you are with a club, click on ‘Look up’ and select your club from the list of registered Athletics Manitoba Clubs. Schools are not considered clubs, so please don’t select a school.
Once your membership is complete, and Athletics Manitoba confirms you are a registered member of the selected club, your Club affiliation will be adjusted.
All athletes (with the exceptions of athletes who are members of Winnipeg Optimist Athletics and the University of Manitoba Track & Field Team) are required to pay online by credit card. Note: there is a processing fee of approximately $3.00

In 2016-2017 Athletics Manitoba undertook an extensive review of its equipment inventory to understand the annual operating costs associated with equipment use, maintenance and replacement. The purpose in doing this exercise was to create a long-term equipment maintenance plan for our association. To ensure that AM and its members always have the equipment needed for training and competition. The equipment used to operate Athletics in Manitoba can be broken into four categories:
For each category, an inventory was taken, and for each piece of equipment we determined the cost and its lifecycle. With that information, a formula was created to calculate an annual operating/maintenance cost.
As a result, an equipment levy was added to all membership fees. This additional fee does NOT contribute to general revenue but is set aside annually to contribute to the purchase/repair of equipment.
Schools with an Athletics Manitoba membership will provide their athletes with the opportunity to compete and register for all sanctioned meets throughout the school year up to June 31st.
Note: Competition entry fees are not included with the purchase of a membership
In addition, having an Athletics Manitoba Memberships includes insurance coverage for the full school year, free Hy-Tek training (if required) for athlete and meet registration, and assistance with spring training.
