Please note that there will be LIMITED spectator capacity this Saturday for the George Tanner Memorial Classic.
Based on our entries, volunteers and officials – we will be able to comfortably accommodate approximately 100 spectators at any one time.
Athletes and families are strongly encouraged to limit the number of spectators planning to attend the event. Wherever possible, we are requesting families to stick to a maximum of 1 spectator per athlete competing.
All spectators are asked to leave the facility after the completion of their athlete’s events (in order to allow others to enter the facility throughout the day).
U of M staff, and AM volunteers will be verifying QR codes and keeping track of facility capacity throughout the day.
All spectators must wear a 3-ply mask at all times and abide by the University of Manitoba Vaccine Requirements (listed below).
University of Manitoba Vaccine Requirement
In accordance with public health restrictions, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status and government-issued identification is required at entry to University of Manitoba sport and recreational facilities for:
- All participants in recreational/sport programs aged 18 and older (verification of age may be requested).
- All guardians/spectators accompanying recreational/sport program participants 17 years and younger.
- All spectators over the age of 12 who are attending Bisons home games and other events (Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult).
