Congratulations to the University of Manitoba men’s 4x400m relay team that won the silver medal at the CIS Championships held on the weekend in Sherbrooke. The team of Zach Durand, Jamie McMaster, Dylan Ostberg and Joel VanKoughnet placed second in an exciting race which saw them narrowly beat out U of Alberta by .06 seconds with a time of 3:19.76. There was only .36 seconds between 1st and 3rd and just over 1 second between 1st and 5th.

Alastair Brown who competes for Lakehead University, on his 2nd place finish in the men’s 1000m with a time of 2:27.06
Keiran Moolchan, U of M, on his 4th place finish in the men’s 60m hurdle with a season’s best time of 8.42, only .03 seconds out of 3rd place
U of Manitoba men’s 4x200m relay on their 4th place finish in a time of 1:31.27. Team members were, Zach Durand, Dylan Ostberg, Jamie McMaster and Tanner Twerdun
Alex Allen, U of M, on her 6th place finish in the women’s pole vault with her season’s best jump of 3.65m
