Standing Long Jump/Triple Jump

Step 1. Find a flat surface (Hallway, Sidewalk, Field).
Step 2. Lay down a starting point and pull a measuring tape at least 3 meters long; toes cannot be past the link prior to jumping.
Standing Long Jump Step 3: Bend knees before line, swing arms 90 degrees forward and back, and let the momentum pull the jump forward.
Standing Triple Jump Step 2. : Take one large jump forward on one leg, then one large jump with the opposite leg. Land with both feet together.
Measuring: Hold a small item during the jump & place the small object at the heel of the participant.
20m SHUTTLE RUN INSTRUCTIONS:
Equipment:
2 Objects, Measuring Tape, Timer, 1 Helper (from same household preferably).
Instructions:
- Measure 20m on a safe, flat surface
- Place 2 objects down at one end of the 20m Shuttle. Start on opposite end.
- Have helper start the timer as you run to opposite end and pick-up object #1.
- Run Back to start with object #1, drop it at start and head back for #2.
- Once object #2 is at the start line, timer stops the clock.

Discus Towel Throw
Step 1. Find a large open space & a bath towel (22″ x 44″). Fold Towel and use the small end of the towel has the “handle” (See photo instructions below).
Step 2. · Lay down a starting point and pull a measuring tape at least 10 meters long; toes cannot be past the link prior to throwing.
Step 3. Two optional methods of throwing:

Measuring: Measurement should take place at the point of impact, not the final location of the discus.
