In preparation for our return to indoor training, the following document has been created in partnership with the University of Manitoba and outlines the specific guidelines and process required for the specific use of the James Daly fieldhouse in the Max Bell Centre.
INDOOR TRAINING PROTOCOLS FOR UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA
In accordance with public health restrictions, proof of COVID-19 vaccination status and government-issued identification is required at the entry of all UM sport and recreation facilities for:
- All participants in recreational/sport programs aged 18 and older (verification of age may be requested).
- All guardians/spectators accompanying recreational/sport program participants 17 years and younger.
NOTE: It is only coaches, parents, and athletes over 18 who will be required to show proof of vaccine. Minors and U12 athletes ARE welcome in the facility and will not be required to show proof of vaccination at this time.
All athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, parents and administrators are strongly encouraged to review the file prior to entering the facility!
Updates to these procedures will be circulated as necessary, if changes/adjustments are made.
NOTE: Indoor facility access for Exclusive Use training begins October 18th. Exclusive Use training is reserved for University of Manitoba team athletes and Athletics Manitoba CLUB members.
