The following update has been provided by MHSAA
The Winnipeg Football Club has informed MHSAA that they are planning to tow any vehicles still parked after 6 pm in the Twoonie lot by the Indoor Soccer Complex and any other lots marked for bomber parking.
Starting at 6pm on Friday, June 10 anyone parked in the Twoonie lots (lots by Indoor Soccer Complex) adjacent to the University Stadium will need to move their vehicles to the Bomber Volunteer parking area which is west of the turf soccer pitch. The bomber volunteer parking lot can be accessed by turning North at the lights at the intersection of Research Road and Chancellor Matheson. This lot will be available for parking throughout the day on Friday. If you are planning to be onsite for the entire day we would encourage you to park there upon arrival.
Please review the google map on the MHSAA Championship website
Please ensure if you are parked during the day in the Twoonie lot or other restricted lots, that you move your car to the designated volunteer lot or vacate the area.
Team Busses may still park in the stadium lot (will be limited space available) and along Chancellor Matheson in front of University Stadium after 6 pm. We highly encourage any athletes competing starting at 6 pm arrange to be picked up/dropped off and plan to arrive early. All athletes who finish competing for the day prior to 6 pm are highly encouraged to depart the area at the completion of their event.
There is absolutely NO PARKING permitted on Ken Pleon Way for busses or any other vehicle throughout the Championship.
We appreciate everyone being flexible and adaptable to the circumstances and appreciate everyone’s assistance in making things work during this time.
Greg Jarvis – Assistant Executive Director – MHSAA
