Athletics Manitoba is looking for your input!
As part of our “Sport for Life” initiative, we are developing a coordinated strategy and program to increase participation and enjoyment for masters age individuals. Master’s athletes are individuals who are 35 or older, who participate in Athletics events (including Track and Field, Cross Country, and Road Racing). A Masters Committee has recently been formed, whose goal is to encourage and support the development and participation of Masters Athletes in Athletics through proper planning, training and competition opportunities tailored to the specific needs of the Masters Athlete. They are seeking input from interested Manitobans on what would bring them to the sport and what would improve their experience if they already participated.
If you are over the age 30, they would love your feedback. Whether you are a former or current athlete, a recreational runner, or someone looking for a new form of physical activity, they want to know what would improve your experience or draw you to the sport of athletics.
