Erin Teschuk of Winnipeg finished 5th in the Women’s Mile at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a strong 4:32.35. She returned two hours later with a 7th place finish in the 3000m in 9:07.92, setting a new Manitoba Senior Record. Erin’s time broke Angela Chalmers record of 9:11.71 set in 1990.
Erin is in third year at North Dakota State University. The Championships were held March 14, 2015 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Erin is the top ranked Canadian at one mile and second in the 3000m
Erin ran out of St. Mary’s Academy and the Winnipeg Optimist Athletics Club.
