New Provincial Records Set

Congratulations to the Winnipeg Optimist Midget Women’s Relay Team that set a new provincial record in the 4x400m on the weekend.  Katie Takatch, Katie Lavallee, Erin Teschuk, and Michelle Hebert made up the team.  Their time was 4:07.95, which broke the previous record of 4:24.09 which was set in 2006. Congratulations to Alyssa Johnson and Danielle O’Donnell on their performances at Canadian Juniors. Alyssa won the 400m in a time of 56.03 and Danielle was 3rd in the Heptathlon with a point total of 4449.
