Day 3 results
4 more Bronze medals and another provincial record for Manitoba athletes on Day 3.
Tegan Turner won her second medal of the meet with a Bronze medal in the (U18) 200m with a time of 25.00.
Thomas Walser won a Bronze medal in the (U16) Long Jump with a jumper of 5.99m.
Connor Boyd (SATT – U18) won a Bronze medal in the 800m with a time of 2:16.00
Stride Ahead Tough Track (U18) Men’s relay team won a Bronze medal in the Club section of the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:23.84, which sets a new provincial record.
Relay team members were Joshua Ahlbaum-Ateah, Shiloh Johnson, Shane Dillon and Connor Boyd.
Team Manitoba (U18) Women’s relay team placed 4th in the Branch section of the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:05.66.
Team members were Quinn Anderson, Geselle dela Merced, Belinda Guerra, Claudia Parrott.
Caleb de Jong placed 5th in the (U18) Men’s 2000m Steeplechase with a time 6:09.57.
Kyla Siemens (SATT – U18) placed 6th in the Women’s 800m with a time of 2:16.00.
Stride Ahead Tough Track (U18) Women’s relay team placed 6th in the Club section of the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:06.31.
Team members were Danika Passler Bates, Kyla Siemens, Erin Tramley, Janine Zajac.
Day 2 results.
Manitoba athletes pick up 5 more medals and 3 more Provincial Records on Day 2.
Jennie Baragar-Petrash won her 2nd medal of the meet and set her 2nd provincial record with a second place finish in the Women’s (U16) 2000m. Her time of 6:25.59 smashes the record of 6:40.74, she set 2 weeks ago in Calgary.
Emma Kusch Dahle won a Silver medal in the Women’s (U18) 3000m with a time of 10:07.73
Victoria Tachinski (SATT) won a Silver medal and set a provincial record in the Women’s (U16) 300m with a time of 40.31.
Jay Ort won a Bronze medal and set a new provincial record in the Men’s (U18) 3000m with a time of 8:43.58. The previous record of 8:44.81 was held by Will Thrift.
Chad Enns finished strong in the Men’s Octathlon and won Bronze with a point total of 5251.
Zachary Medal finished 4th in the Men’s (U16) 200m hurdles with a time of 26.42.
Thomas Walser finished 5th in the Men’s (U16) Triple jump with a jump of 12.60m.
James Kenny finished tied for 6th in the Men’s (U16) high jump with a jump of 1.70m and Justin Krantz finished 6th in the Men’s (U18) shot put with a throw of 14.58m
After leading at the end of Day 1, unfortunately Robyn Wear was unable to finish her 800m in the Heptathlon due to injury, but finished 6th in the Heptathlon, despite getting no points in the 800m.

Day 1 results
Another Gold medal for Manitoba. The U18 Women’s 4x100m relay team, won Gold with a time of 47.45, only .19 off the 33 year old provincial record of 47.26. Relay team members are Tegan Turner, Tyra Duma, Geselle dela Merced and Robyn Wear.
After Day 1, Robyn Wear is sitting in 1st place in the Heptathlon and Chad Enns is in 3rd place in the Octathlon. Kyla Siemens (U18 – SATT) finished 5th in the 1500m with a time of 4:41.77.

Tegan Turner won Manitoba’s second medal, placing 2nd in the (U18) 100m final with a time of 12.06. Victoria Tachinski finished 6th in the (U16) 100m final with a time of 12.81, and Zachary Medal finished 5th in the (U16) 100m hurdles with a time of 14.79.

Jennie Baragar-Petrash (U16) – Team Toba) won Manitoba’s first Gold medal. Jennie won the 1200m in a time of 3:36.45, which breaks the Manitoba Provincial record she set earlier this year at the provincial championships.

Victoria Tachinski (SATT – U16) and Tegan Turner (Team Toba – U18) have both advanced to the final in the Women’s 100m. Victoria had the 6th fastest time in the heats of 12.71 and Tegan had the 2nd fastest time in her age group at 12.13.
Zach Medal (Team Toba – U16) advanced to the 100m hurdle final with the 4th fastest time of 14.89 and Michael Medal (Team Toba – U18) advanced to the B final in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.68
Robyn Wear (Team Toba – U18) had a great start to her heptathlon, placing 1st in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.12.
